Electrical warning signs are observable changes—such as recurring trips, unusual heat, discoloration, buzzing, or intermittent power—that can indicate a circuit, device, connection, or panel needs evaluation. The sign identifies a reason to inspect; it does not identify the repair by itself.
What it means
Flickering that follows one lamp may be a lamp issue, while flickering across several circuits can point to a broader connection or supply concern. Warm outlets, damaged insulation, persistent odors, shocks, and repeated breaker trips deserve prompt attention because normal electrical equipment should not create those conditions.
